No. You pay for training: the AI core, your domain course, live projects and, on plans that include it, a four-week supervised practicum with the Saarthi team. Top performers may be offered a stipend or a pre-placement interview. Those are chosen on merit, free, never sold and never guaranteed.
What if I change my mind?
Ask within 7 days of paying and you get a full refund, no reason needed. After that, you can ask for a pro-rata refund for the days of your access period you have not used. If we fail to deliver the practicum, you get a full refund. If we fail to deliver a 1:1 mentor or expert session you paid for, we refund it automatically, without you having to ask. Refunds go back to the way you paid.
I have exams in the middle. What happens?
You can pause once per enrolment for your exams, for up to 15 days. While you are paused the course is closed, and when you resume your deadline moves out by the days you were paused, up to 15.
What happens when my access period ends?
You see your access deadline before you pay. When it passes, the course locks: lessons, labs and Saarthi close for that course. Your portfolio page and certificate stay live for good.
Do I need to pay for ChatGPT, Claude or any other AI tool?
No. Every lab runs on a free tier or on a sandbox we host for you. A few specialist design and pharmacy tools use your college's lab licence; the course page marks those.
Are the voices in the lesson films real people?
Lesson films are narrated with an AI voice, over visuals made with AI tools and checked by our team. Saarthi, the coach, is an AI. Mentors and reviewers are people.
What is Saarthi, outside Launchpad?
Saarthi is the AI chief of staff we build for Indian sellers on Amazon, Flipkart and Myntra, at saarthi.smeminds.com. In Launchpad it is your coach, and several business, commerce and analytics projects are checked against the same engines it runs for sellers, on anonymised or synthetic data.
Who grades my work?
Saarthi reviews your work first, against a rubric you can read in advance. A mentor then reviews and signs off. Anything that feeds a stipend or interview decision needs a person's sign-off, and you can appeal a grade.
Can I do it on my phone?
Yes. Lessons, quizzes and Saarthi work fully on a phone. Some labs and projects are easier on a laptop, and a college lab computer works fine.
Who can join?
Any college student, in any stream and any year. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian has to consent before you enrol, as the DPDP Act requires.
Will my college give me credits for it?
Only if your institution approves it. Colleges that sign an MoU with us decide whether and how to award credit. We give them the logged hours and graded work they need to decide.
How does anyone know my certificate is real?
Every certificate has an ID. Anyone can open launchpad.smeminds.com/v/ followed by that ID and see the course, the hours and the graded projects, straight from our records.
